Helping Students Succeed
Established in 2012, the SanDisk Scholars Program supports the educational goals of students in pursuit of careers in engineering and computer science. The program awards scholarships of up to $10,000 per student to graduating high school seniors, community-college students, and students already enrolled in an engineering or computer science related course of study in need of financial support to reach their goals. In 2012, we awarded scholarships to more than 96 students throughout the U.S.
We partner with the Silicon Valley Community Foundation (SVCF), International Scholarship and Tuition Services (ISTS), the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), and the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) to identify students fitting our applicant profile, process applications, award scholarships, and provide support services to scholarship recipients.

- A single applicant may not win more than one award
- Students may reapply each year as long as they continue to meet the eligibility criteria
- The scholarships will be applied to tuition, fees, books, supplies, and equipment required for course load at accredited nonprofit two or four-year colleges and universities in the U.S.
- Students may transfer from one institution to another and retain the award
Eligibility requirements, online applications, and required accompanying documents are available on the application site independently hosted by ISTS. For more information email ISTS or call 617-777-3738
We also offer additional scholarships for students attending UC Berkeley, Stanford, UCLA, MIT, and the University of Texas-Austin. These awards are independently managed by the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. Recipients will be selected by each of the participating schools within guidelines set by SanDisk and SVCF. Students attending these schools should contact their financial aid office for information on how to apply.
