Delivering best-in-class performance for smartphones, tablets, and other mobile electronics, iNAND 7030 is based on SanDisk's industry-leading 1Ynm manufacturing process. This process represents the second generation of SanDisk’s 19 nanometer (nm) technology, which reduces the memory cell size from 26 nm to 19 by 19.5 nm--a 25% reduction of the memory cell area. The result is a smaller EFD with a higher storage capacity for use in a variety of consumer products.
iNAND 7030 uses intelligent flash memory technology that not only offers the capacity to store digital content, but also meets even stricter high sequential and random performance requirements to ensure a strong user experience. This enables quick application launching, seamless multitasking, and quick access to the cloud.

Based on SanDisk's 1Ynm process technology, and featuring a robust implementation of the e.MMC 5.0 HS400 specification for embedded mass-storage flash memory, iNAND 7030 measures a mere 11.5 by 13 mm, and as little as 1.0 mm thick, while delivering up to 128GB of memory. This helps make slim and portable mobile, tablet, and consumer electronics designs possible while leaving more room in those devices for batteries, cameras, and other features.
