Service to our communities is an integral part of SanDisk – it is a part of our corporate DNA, and what it means to be an employee here. Focusing on regions in which we have a significant presence, our vision is to shape healthy, thriving youth equipped with the resources and opportunities to cultivate a love for learning and realize their academic and professional potential.
To do so, we focus our efforts in three key areas that impact children and their families from cradle to career:

SanDisk believes in giving back to the communities in which we work, live and play and we’ve even set an ambitious Corporate Goal of 100% employee participation. We promote specific volunteer activities aligned with our areas of focus as well as support employees that want to give their time and talents to other organizations they believe in by matching both financial and time contributions. We also offer disaster relief and humanitarian aid during times of crisis. While our efforts involve more than 800 events each year across the SanDisk global footprint, here are some highlights that help tell our story:
At SanDisk, we share our resources with charitable organizations that address our key areas of focus in our local communities. Since 2003, the SanDisk Foundation has awarded more than 2,300 grants totaling $42 million worldwide. We also help students pursue careers in engineering and computer science through the SanDisk Scholars Program, an annual $1.5 million scholarship program awarding scholarships up to $10,000 per student to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
