Alper Ilkbahar

Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer

Alper Ilkbahar is Executive Vice President of Memory Technology at Sandisk, overseeing NAND technology development, next-generation technologies, corporate research functions, and market development.

Most recently, Ilkbahar served as senior vice president of global strategy and technology at Western Digital. Prior to Western Digital, he was the vice president of the Data Center Group and general manager of the Intel Optane Group. In this role, he supported the development of memory and storage solutions by integrating innovative hardware and software for next-generation data centers around Optane Technology.

Ilkbahar served as vice president and general manager of several business units at Sandisk. He started his career in Intel’s microprocessor division, where he worked in design engineering and management.

A leader who has honed his technical expertise, Ilkbahar holds more than 50 patents in the fields of semiconductor process, device, design, and testing.

Ilkbahar received a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, Turkey, a master’s in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, and a master’s in business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

V. Don Angspatt

Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, Global Operations

Don Angspatt is executive vice president and chief operations officer at Sandisk. He is responsible for global operations and corporate strategy, including fab, assembly/test, packaging, supply chain, procurement, and IT.

Angspatt is recognized for his strategic vision, leadership, and ability to drive growth and change in large organizations. His strategic insights, analytical rigor, and business acumen and pragmatic mindset make him highly effective in driving complex initiatives. Angspatt has led product and strategy organizations in enterprise software and enterprise infrastructure for over three decades.

Previously, Angspatt served as the chief strategy officer and chief of staff to the CEO at Western Digital, where he led corporate strategy, corporate development and investments, and new business incubation. He worked closely with the executive leadership team to drive the company’s overarching strategy and transformation agenda.

Prior to Sandisk, he was senior vice president of strategy and operations for Cisco’s $30 billion networking and security business, where he advised and partnered with product executives to develop and execute strategies across networking, compute, and IoT, while leading cross-product initiatives and shared engineering services. Previously, he held leadership roles in product management, product marketing, engineering, and business development at EMC Corporation, Symantec Corporation, VERITAS Software Corporation, and Intel Corporation.

Angspatt serves on the board of directors for UNIS-WDC Storage Company and on the regional board for the Northwestern University Leadership Circle San Francisco Bay Area. He holds a bachelor’s in economics and a master’s in environmental engineering from Northwestern University, where he was an IRMCO Graduate Fellow, and he obtained a master’s in business administration from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.

Jim Elliott

Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer

Jim Elliott is executive vice president and chief revenue officer at Sandisk. In this role, Elliott leads efforts to maximize revenue opportunities and drive Sandisk’s growth.

A highly respected industry leader with nearly 30 years of experience in the semiconductor memory and storage sector, Elliott has held leadership roles in both global corporations and Silicon Valley start-ups. Known as a market visionary, he has played a key role in driving memory and storage transitions and market evolution. He has proven expertise in developing synergistic product portfolios across a wide range of markets including Server, Data Center, PC, Tablet, Phone, Wearables, and Automotive.

Prior to Sandisk, Elliott served as Executive Vice President at Samsung Semiconductor, Inc., where he led all Sales and Marketing activities for Samsung’s memory organization in the Americas. There, he was responsible for the sales, marketing, operations, and QA teams for Samsung’s memory business, comprised of 3D NAND, SSDs, DRAM, LPDDR, Graphics, HBM and UFS products.

Elliott holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Davis, and a Master of Business Administration from Cal Poly University, San Luis Obispo.

Christine Bastian

Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer

Christine Bastian is executive vice president and chief people officer at Sandisk. In this role, she leads all HR functions and is responsible for driving the people strategy that supports the company’s vision of empowering people with innovative solutions that fuel progress.

Known for her innovative practices in leading dynamic organizations, Bastian has successfully supported large-scale organizational transformation and spearheaded impactful change initiatives. Her work emphasizes aligning culture and values with employee engagement and fostering a deep connection between one’s role and the organization’s mission. Bastian is also recognized for her expertise in organizational design, talent development, and cultivating high-performing teams.

Previously, Bastian served as executive vice president and chief people officer at Western Digital. She was also senior vice president of people and communities at Cisco, where she led groundbreaking work in learning and career development, hybrid work strategies, workforce planning, and performance management. She also navigated complex acquisitions and divestitures and people strategy consulting for Cisco’s global engineering organization.

Bastian’s passion for people, technology, and transformation continues to shape her contributions to the business, her community, and the future of work. She is an active member of Global HR 50. Her work has been recognized by the YWCA Silicon Valley Tribute to Women Award in 2019; by the National Diversity Council as one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology in 2020; by the Silicon Valley Business Journal as a Woman of Influence in 2023; and by HR Director for leading the Best HR Team in the U.S. in 2023. Bastian graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California. 

Luis Visoso

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Luis Felipe Visoso is the executive vice president and chief financial officer at Sandisk. He previously served as the chief administrative officer at Western Digital. Widely respected across the industry, he has more than two decades of experience in global financial leadership roles and expertise spanning a hybrid of massive-scale consumer and enterprise technology companies. 

Most recently, Visoso was senior vice president and CFO of Unity Software Inc. Before Unity, he held the CFO role at Palo Alto Networks, Amazon Web Services, and Amazon’s worldwide consumer organization. He served in a senior finance role supporting Cisco’s $40 billion technology portfolio and spent 23 years in various finance leadership positions, including business unit CFO, responsible for the strategy development and implementation of an $80 billion consumer goods portfolio at Procter & Gamble.  

Visoso serves on the board of directors for JFrog and is a member of the board’s audit committee. He previously served as the chair of the audit committee at Splunk. Visoso holds a bachelor’s in industrial engineering and a minor in international business from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

David Goeckeler

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

David Goeckeler is the chairman and CEO of Sandisk Corporation. Over his career, he has focused on innovating and growing industries ranging from semiconductors to global networking to enterprise software. He is recognized as a transformational leader with an exceptional track record of driving highly profitable core businesses at scale.

Sandisk, a global Flash semiconductor storage and advanced memory technology innovator, has extensive operations throughout the United States and Asia, with more than 10,000 employees worldwide. The brand is widely recognized globally for innovation, performance, and quality.

Previously, Goeckeler was CEO of Western Digital, where he led the company’s resurgence as the leading global supplier of data storage products. He also drove the company’s separation into two public companies – Western Digital and Sandisk – to fully unlock the value of the franchise. After the separation in February 2025, the two companies finished #1 (SNDK, 559%) and #2 (WDC, 282%) in yearly gains for all S&P 500 companies.

Prior to Western Digital, he served as executive vice president and general manager of Cisco’s $34 billion networking and security business, accelerating the company’s networking and security strategy. Goeckeler started his career at Bell Laboratories.

Goeckeler currently serves as chairman of the U.S.-Japan Business Council (USJBC) at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. He also sits on the board of directors of the Semiconductor Industry Association, where he previously served as chairman. Additionally, he is on the board of directors of ADP, a comprehensive global provider of cloud-based human capital management solutions, and on the board of visitors for the University of Illinois College of Engineering.

Alexander R. Bradley

Chief Financial Officer, First Solar, Inc.

Since 2016, Bradley has served as Chief Financial Officer of First Solar, a leading American solar technology and manufacturing company. He first joined the company in 2008 and held key leadership roles, including as vice president of both treasury and project finance, where he structured and financed major solar projects across the globe.

Prior to joining First Solar, Bradley worked in investment banking and leveraged finance at HSBC in London and New York, focusing on the energy and utilities sector. He also served as an officer and board member of the general partner of 8point3 Energy Partners. Bradley holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Rick Cassidy

Senior Vice President, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd. (TSMC)

Rick Cassidy is senior vice president of corporate strategy development at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (TSMC), responsible for corporate strategy planning and implementation. He is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Previously, Cassidy served as chairman, president, and chief executive officer at TSMC Arizona and as president and chief executive officer at TSMC North America.

Cassidy is a board advisor of Ethernovia and a board member of Achronix and the Global Semiconductor Alliance.

Dr. Thomas Caulfield

President and CEO, GlobalFoundries

Dr. Thomas Caulfield is the president and chief executive officer of GlobalFoundries. He is a demonstrated leader with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, spanning engineering, global operational leadership, corporate strategy, manufacturing, and marketing.

Prior to being named CEO of GlobalFoundries in 2018, he was senior vice president and general manager of the company’s 300 mm semiconductor wafer manufacturing facility (Fab 8). Dr. Caulfield also held senior executive positions at several leading technology companies, including IBM and Novellus Systems, Inc. He previously served on the board of directors of Western Digital.

Devinder Kumar

Board Member and Audit Committee Chairman, Ciena, and Former Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, AMD

Devinder Kumar has more than 40 years of experience in the technology industry. He has been a member of the board of directors of Ciena, a networking systems, services, and automation software company, since August 2019 and is the chairman of the audit committee.

During a 39-year tenure at AMD, he was executive vice president and chief financial officer for 10 years from 2013 to 2023 and corporate controller for 11 years from 2001 to 2012. He has vast global experience, including spending 10 years in Asia for AMD’s manufacturing services group across Malaysia, China, Singapore, and Thailand. He retired from AMD in 2023.

Kumar has a bachelor’s degree in ecology from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, a master’s degree in biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a master’s in business administration in finance from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Dr. Necip Sayiner

Former CEO, Intersil and Silicon Labs

Dr. Necip Sayiner was chief executive officer of Intersil Corporation, a leading provider of innovative power management and precision analog solutions, until its acquisition by Renesas Electronics Corporation. Post-acquisition, he served as executive vice president of Renesas Electronics Corporation and president of Renesas Electronics America. Previously, he served as president and chief executive officer of Silicon Laboratories, a fabless global technology and semiconductor manufacturing company.

Dr. Sayiner is a past chairman and vice chairman of the Semiconductor Industry Association. He currently sits on the boards of directors of Rambus, Inc., a semiconductor manufacturer, and Axcelis Technologies, Inc., a supplier to the semiconductor manufacturing industry.

Ellyn Shook

Former Chief Leadership and Human Resources Officer, Accenture

Ellyn Shook served as Accenture’s chief leadership and human resources officer, where she was responsible for helping the company's 738,000 employees succeed professionally and personally. Her global HR expertise reimagined leadership and talent practices to create truly human work environments, which fueled Accenture’s differentiation in the market. Previously, she held several senior leadership roles across the global human resources organization at Accenture.

Shook is an executive committee member of the Professional Roundtable of CHROs and serves on the board for the National Academy of HR. She is also a member of the board of the Baldwin Group (BWIN) and chairs the compensation committee.

Miyuki Suzuki

Board of Directors at Twilio Inc. and Jera Co., Inc.

Miyuki Suzuki serves on the boards of directors of Sandisk, Twilio Inc. and Jera Co., Inc., Japan’s largest power generation company. She has more than 35 years of leadership experience in the technology and telecommunications industries. With deep global operations expertise that spans the Asia Pacific region, she most recently was president of Asia Pacific, Japan, and China at Cisco.

Prior to that, Suzuki held senior leadership roles at Jetstar Airways, LexisNexis, Japan Telecom, and Thomson Reuters Corporation. Suzuki holds a master’s in history from the University of Oxford. She previously served on the board of directors of Western Digital.
