Phil Coates (www.philcoates.tv) is an accomplished director cameraman specializing in remote location productions and has a proven track record of working on assignment in some of the most challenging environments on earth in temperatures from -52°C to +48°C and altitudes of up to 8,000 meters.

Phil is a member of The SanDisk Extreme Team, The Guild of Television Cameramen, The Manfrotto School of Xcellence, The British Association of International Mountain Leaders, a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a Canon Explorer. His television documentaries have been commissioned for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, ABC Australia, Avro Netherlands, Discovery International and National Geographic Television.
